Osteopathy and Physiotherapy Clinic in Lisbon

Osteofisiolab Clinic was founded in 2011 with the purpose of helping people live an active and pain-free life.

Nine years later, our focus remains the same: the complete recovery of each person.

Our approach is centred on the individual — we carry out a detailed assessment of each patient and their movement, and define the intervention plan together.

We are known for our close, personalised care, the way we approach each health condition, and for being with our patients from their first appointment to their final treatment.

THE PATIENT COMES FIRST

The health and wellbeing of all our patients are the priority in our daily work.

ALWAYS CLOSE
We listen and strive to understand your individual needs. We’re always by your side from the initial assessment to discharge — and beyond, with prescribed exercises.

Baropodometry

> Bachelor’s Degree in Orthotics and Prosthetics: Lisbon School of Health Technology

> MBA: EAE Business School Barcelona

I am an orthotist with over 15 years of experience. I began my career in Barcelona, where I developed skills with various medical devices related to orthopedics, always focused on personalized patient care. In Portugal, as a collaborator at Gameiros Material Clínico, I have contributed to the development of the OPMLab laboratory, a baropodometric gait analysis and custom-made plantar orthoses (insoles) manufacturing center. Since then, I have discovered a great interest in the field of biomechanics and, in particular, in the design and manufacture of insoles, as well as the study and analysis of gait. I love interacting with patients and explaining all the science behind insoles, so I consider myself a talkative person.

Physiotherapy

Specialized manual therapy, RPG/SGA and individualized therapeutic exercise.

> Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy: Higher School of Health of the Portuguese Red Cross.

> Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy in Musculoskeletal Conditions: Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal.

> PhD Candidate in Biomedical Engineering: Faculty of Sciences and Technology of the Nova University of Lisbon (research in biomechanics, analysis of human movement and kinematic biofeedback).

> Additional Training:

  • Global Postural Reeducation (RPG/SGA) and certification in Stretching Global Actif (Université de Thérapie Manuelle Saint-Mont, France);
  • Assessment and treatment of shoulder and upper limb dysfunctions (University of Barcelona – EUG).

For me, physiotherapy is much more than treating pain; it’s about supporting people during moments of heightened vulnerability and helping them regain confidence in their own bodies.

Each person who comes to the clinic brings a story, a context, expectations, and fears. That’s why I believe that good practice arises from the balance between science and sensitivity. Scientific evidence guides my decisions, but it is active listening, attention to detail, and understanding of individual movement that make each intervention truly personalized.

My training in biomechanics and movement analysis, combined with daily clinical practice, allows me to look at the body in an integrated way. I am interested in understanding how each segment relates to the whole, how posture, motor control, and movement patterns influence pain and function, regardless of the affected body region.

In clinical practice, I combine specialized manual therapy, Global Postural Reeducation, and individualized therapeutic exercise, always adapting the intervention to the person and their goals. I don’t just work on symptoms, but on causes, movement strategies, and behaviors that may be at the root of the dysfunction.

What motivates me most is seeing someone regain their ability to move safely, autonomously, and confidently, whether for work, sports, or simply living their daily life without limitations. I believe in a therapeutic relationship based on trust, clarity, and mutual commitment, where each progress is built together.
