1. Identification and scope
The website osteofisiolab.pt is provided by Osteopatia & Fisioterapia Lab Afonso Pedroso, Lda, trading as OSTEOFISIO lab, contactable at Praça de Alvalade, n.° 7, 11.° esquerdo, 1700-036 Lisbon; geral@osteofisiolab.pt; +351 960 369 032 (call to a Portuguese mobile network). The website shows ERS registration no. E149556.
These terms govern the use of the website and its contact channels. They do not replace the specific conditions of clinical services, informed consent for interventions or the information given to the patient before the service is contracted.
2. Health information
The website content is for information only and does not constitute diagnosis, prescription or individual clinical advice. The choice of treatments depends on assessment by a qualified professional. Do not start, interrupt or change a treatment based only on the website.
The website contact channels are not emergency services. In an emergency, call 112 or the appropriate health services.
3. Appointment requests and service conditions
The “Book Appointment” button and the forms allow you to submit a request. Submitting a request does not, by itself, confirm an appointment, a time or the availability of a professional. Booking depends on confirmation by the clinic through the agreed channel.
Before contracting a service, the patient must receive information on the service, the price and the applicable conditions. Payment conditions, packs, cancellations, no-shows, rescheduling and any refunds must be communicated clearly by the clinic; they are not created or changed by these website terms of use.
Any promotional information or indication of availability shown on the website is subject to the respective conditions and to the applicable confirmation, without prejudice to the patient’s legally recognised rights.
4. Responsible use
Users must provide truthful information and only the data necessary for the request, must not impersonate another person and must not transmit unlawful content or content that infringes third-party rights.
5. Content and intellectual property
The texts, images, trademarks and other content are protected by the applicable rights of their owners. You may view the content for personal use. Reproduction, adaptation or commercial use requires the applicable authorisation, unless the law allows it. Third-party rights remain protected.
6. External links and availability
The website may contain links or features from third parties, including social networks, maps and WhatsApp. Use of those services is subject to the conditions of the respective providers. The existence of a link does not mean that the clinic controls all the content or practices of the external service.
Access may be interrupted because of maintenance, technical faults or other reasons. If you cannot use a form or feature, contact the clinic by telephone or email. Any errors in the information should be reported to geral@osteofisiolab.pt.
These terms do not exclude or limit liabilities that cannot be excluded or limited by law, nor do they remove the rights of patients and consumers.
7. Personal data and cookies
The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy and the use of cookies in the Cookie Policy. Use of the website is not consent to processing that depends on specific authorisation.
8. Complaints
You may submit questions or complaints directly to the clinic at geral@osteofisiolab.pt or through the contacts above. The Electronic Complaints Book is also available at
www.livroreclamacoes.pt. You also keep the right to contact the Entidade Reguladora da Saúde (Health Regulatory Authority) at
www.ers.pt, and other competent authorities.
9. Applicable law and changes
These terms are governed by Portuguese law, without prejudice to applicable mandatory provisions. The resolution of disputes must respect the means and jurisdiction rules provided by law; these terms do not require waiver of rights or exclusive territorial jurisdiction.
The terms may be updated. The version applicable to use of the website is available with its date. Changes do not retroactively modify conditions of services already contracted.
